RED-Scue is a functional energy bar designed to help bridge the macro- and micronutrient gaps commonly seen in Low Energy Availability (LEA) and RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport)

The Lived Experience Behind RED-Scue
I learned this the hard way.
While training hard and under-fuelling, I tore my Achilles — a wake-up call that RED-S is real. Low energy availability doesn’t just sap performance; it compromises bones, muscles, hormones, and recovery. Injuries happen when the body doesn’t have the fuel it needs.
RED-Scue was built from lived experience and study — inspired by African endurance fuelling traditions observed in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Kenya while training as a national athlete in Southern Spain.
